Context

Why a redesign was necessary?

The previous website was dated, inconsistent, and difficult to navigate on mobile. Parishioners struggled to find mass times, announcements, and parish history quickly.

What we changed.

  • Rebuilt navigation with a clear hierarchy to reach mass times, history, and updates fast

  • Introduced a consistent palette and typography inspired by the church’s heritage

  • Designed mobile-first responsive layouts with improved legibility

  • Optimized imagery and structure for clarity across devices

  • Highlighted parish mission, history, and announcements in a clear, accessible way

Results

Measured improvements in the first month. 

  • Unique visitors rose from 2,612 → 3,072 (+17.6%).

  • Total visits increased from 4,434 → 4,835 (+9.0%).

  • Interpretation: The redesigned site attracted more people overall and encouraged more repeat or extended browsing within the first month of launch. Parishioners have also shared anecdotal remarks highlighting the site’s improved ease of use and overall clean, modern presentation.
